  • A user has to make sure that he is only connected to the Rockspace range extender, not any other device. The login issue may occur if a user has been connected to another range extender.

  • If you are using an IP address of the device to enter into the web management window, make sure it is correct. The default IP address of the Rockspace range extender is 192.168.0.254.

  • If your computer is connected to other wireless networks, wired connections, and VPN connections that could be a reason for the re.rockspace.local issue. Disconnect it from other networks and then try to access the re.rockspace.local interface of the range extender.
  • The active firewall and antivirus software on your computer may also be the reason that you are denied from the re.rockspace.local interface. You need to disable them using the Control Panel of your windows.
  • If all the above steps fail to resolve the issue, restore the factory default settings into the Rockspace range extender. Press the reset button behind the device and hold it until the Power LED comes back in a stable state.

Note: The reset process will revert back all the default settings into the range extender. All configurations are made during the setup process or after it sets back to default. You need to reconfigure your device using the re.rockspace.local interface. To save yourself from reconfiguring the device, you can create a backup of the current configuration settings and can restore it later.
